Michael McGowan of Southern Pines, NC cruised to victory at Venetian Bay this week winning by six shots on rounds of 62-64 =126 (-18 under). Michael’s performance was nothing short of brilliant opening with a -10 under 62 on the 7072 yard layout. His overnight lead was a mere two shots over Pete Kellermann of Jacksonville who finished alone in second at -12 under par. Season Opener Champion David Rabil finished 3rd after two solid rounds (68-67) -9 under. Michael collected $2,250.00 for the victory. Congrats on some great play this week.
