Wolfe sighting in Zellwood

After a 6 year absence from the FPGTour, (his last victory was in 2017) and now a PGA Tour Veteran with Korn Ferry status, Jared Wolfe of Ponte Vedra, FL made a return visit to capture the 2023 Zellwood Classic at Zellwood Station Country Club. He had rounds of 66-68 for a two-day total of -10 under par to win by just one shot over Kevin Aylwin of New Smyrna Beach, and Michael Sakane of Jacksonville both at -9 under par. Rounding out the top 5 finishers this week were Jeff Corr at -8 under, and last years Zellwood Champion Joe Zawaski at -5 under par. In the Senior Division, Rob Sullivan of Cocoa Beach took home the title with a two-day total of 148 and garnished the winners check of $990 for the victory. Next Up: The FPGTour heads North to Candler Hills Golf Club for the 18th Annual Ocala Open the week of March 21-24. The Ocala Charity Pro-Am kicks-off the week on Tuesday March 21st with a 9am shot-gun start, followed by the opening round of the Championship on Wednesday March 22nd beginning at 8am of both 1&10 tees. 132 players from around the world will be vying for the title and the $15,000 winners check.
